The circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic do make data collection in the field ever more challenging for our partner team from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) who is currently conducting the ForMOVe survey in Mexico. Also, the BUAP team had to make some changes to the planned stops for the quantitative data collection along frequented migrant routes due to security reasons. Instead of going further north to the US-Mexican border they responsibly decided to continue with applying the survey in Hermosillo, Sonora.

In the whole ForMOVe research team we will have to reflect on this difficulties and adapt the preestablished locations of data collection.
