On the 26th of January 2021, our Project Coordinator Dr. Ximena Alba participated in the event "Violence during the Migration Process through Mexico" organized by the Latiknows Student Group at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. The event was part of the series "Zwischen den Welten" [Between Worlds] which focuses themes related to migration. Ximena Alba gave some insights into her field research in Mexico which she conducted for the ForMOVE project from October 2019 until January 2020 and discussed together with Professor Alejandra Díaz de León (El Colegio de México) about the various forms of violence migrants have to face on their journey through Mexico.
